A Message from the Pastor

Dear Parishioners and Friends,

I want again to say a word of appreciation to you for your financial support of the Cathedral. In the past two weeks I asked your special attention to your Stewardship of Finance and how you should exercise this in a way that benefits your Church. Just glancing through the commitment forms returned it’s clear that our Parish membership not only realizes how much God has blessed them, but that we care deeply for our beloved Cathedral community. Thank you for your generosity, and for being part of our family of faith! Read more

Child Protection Training for Adult Volunteers Now Available

Child protection training for adult volunteers is now available online.  The Safe Environment Program has been established as part of the ongoing commitment of the Catholic Church to prevent child abuse and provide procedures when reports of child abuse or sexual misconduct by Church personnel and volunteers are received. The essential elements of the Safe Environment Program include the screening & training of all Church and school personnel and volunteers who work with children or young people on a regular, unsupervised basis. Click on this link to the Diocesan website for information on our new program, “Safe in Place.”
